Brisbane South-West · watched daily, verified facts only
Sellers move prices quietly, and portals reset the day counter on every relist. We watched every listing in the corridor daily through the week of 4 september - 10 september 2026 and kept the history. This page is the permanent record: who moved, by how much, and how long they had really been waiting. No opinions. Just the record.
One email every Friday: the complete list of the week's cuts, plus the Deadline Watch, the Off-Market Watch (homes you will not find advertised), and what to watch next week. The history the portals delete. Free.
We told you too many homes were being withdrawn. Issues 4 through 8 said 51, 55, 44, 53 and 54 houses came off the market without selling, and those numbers were too high. A house disappears from the market for one of two reasons. Someone bought it, or the owner gave up. To tell which, we checked whether we had seen a sale. Sales often reach us weeks after they happen, so a house that had already sold still looked to us like one nobody wanted.
Now we read the property's own history before we call it withdrawn. For the week in this issue that is 51 houses withdrawn against 320 sold, so giving up is a lot rarer than we had been making out. The new number says the market is holding up better than we told you. That is not the flattering direction for us, which is exactly why we are telling you.
